This cabinet is manufactured in virgin ABS plastic, the design is such that there is minimal wear and tear to the cabinet, which is quite common, as while in use the cabinet usually is kept on the floor and dragged around.
The inner design is also unique as the amount of movement and outer wear and tear should not affect the inner components, as this could lead to damage of the equiment being charged, which is naturally more costlier.
The wire core used to supply the DC current produced by the charger is thicker that anything available on the market yet, it is so because proper AMP current must pass through the wires to facilitate proper charging. This problem is commonly observed in the products available on the market, dorky manufacturers use inferior wires for cost cutting thus delivering an overall inferior product.
